During your stop over, one can walk the marked trails of varying lengths, winding through the forest leading you into some of the Park's most beautiful wooded areas. The timber walkway that winds through the Glen and alongside the river Gorge, was first built over a 100 years ago. It has been carefully reconstructed and repaired to provide a spectacular walk, rivalled by few others.

Free Field Trips for schools can be pre-booked through The Glenariff Forest Park Officer, who will supply a guide free of charge for all sorts of educational trips.
We can cover a variety of subjects (ie trees, wildlife or bird identification) for all levels of school children from pre-school to GCSE.
